• Astrological / Horoscope Details: Manglik status (Manglik / Non-Manglik / Angshik / Don't Know), time of birth, and place of birth if provided voluntarily.
• Physical Attributes: Height and weight.
• Education & Career: Highest educational qualification, employment sector (Private / Government / Business / Self-Employed / Not Employed), designation/occupation, and annual income range.
• Location: Current work city, state, and country.
• Personal Bio: "About Me" description outlining values, partner preferences, and lifestyle.

6. Family Information & Tree

Because Indian matrimonial decisions involve families, our app allows members to provide structured family information:

• Father's name, living status, and occupation.
• Mother's name and occupation.
• Family Structure: Nuclear or Joint family.
• Family Values: Orthodox, Traditional, or Moderate.
• Family Members List: Number of brothers and sisters, their marital status, and occupations.

Members have the right to control who can view their detailed family tree through member-controlled privacy toggles.

7. Profile Photographs and Media

• Members may upload profile pictures and gallery photographs from their device camera or gallery.
• Uploaded photographs are stored in secure cloud storage (Firebase Storage).
• Photos must adhere to community decency standards. Photographs depicting vulgarity, offensive symbols, or copyrighted materials are strictly prohibited and subject to immediate removal.

8. Identity and Document Information (Aadhaar Verification)

We adhere to strict safeguards regarding identity documents:

• Sole Purpose: Aadhaar copies are used exclusively for manual human review by authorized community administrators to confirm that the person creating the profile is genuine.
• Storage & Protection: Document images are uploaded directly to a private, non-public cloud storage directory (kycSubmissions/{uid}). They are encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest via AES-256.
• No Public Exposure: Identity documents are NEVER shared, displayed, or made accessible to other app users, members, or external commercial entities.
• No DigiLocker / Aadhaar OTP: We do not integrate with DigiLocker or execute automated UIDAI biometric or OTP queries. Only visual inspection of the uploaded image is performed.

9. Selfie and Verification Information

• During the verification stage, the app requests the user to capture a real-time live selfie using the device camera.
• No Biometric Processing: We do NOT perform automated facial recognition, mathematical face mapping, or biometric feature extraction. The live selfie is solely used by human administrators to visually confirm that the person registering matches the photo on the submitted Aadhaar card.
• The selfie is kept strictly confidential within the private administrative verification record.

10. Communication and Messages

• Users can exchange text messages inside the app with mutually accepted connections.
• Messages are stored securely in Cloud Firestore and are private between the conversation participants.
• Safety & Abuse Moderation: If a user reports a conversation for harassment, fraud, or inappropriate conduct, authorized community safety moderators may inspect the reported message thread solely for resolving the complaint and enforcing platform safety rules.

11. Device and Technical Information

When you use the mobile application, we collect standard diagnostic telemetry:

• Device manufacturer, model, and operating system version (e.g., Android 13).
• App version and build number.
• IP address, login timestamps, and network connectivity state.
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics to resolve technical issues.

12. Location Information

We do NOT track continuous real-time background GPS coordinates. Location details (City, State, Country, and Native Place) are provided manually by the user during profile creation to facilitate geographic searching.

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• To verify member identity and community eligibility before activating public discovery.
• To enable search, filter, and match discovery based on Gotra, education, and location.

• To send service notifications (profile approval alerts, incoming requests, event registrations).
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activities.
• To manage community Vivah Samelan event registrations.

14. Profile Visibility and User Consent

Public profile information (name, age, education, profession, city, Gotra, and approved photos) is visible only to logged-in, verified members of the community app. Search engines and unauthenticated web crawlers cannot access member profiles.

15. Family Tree and Photo Visibility

Members retain control over their sensitive details. In the app's privacy settings, members can configure whether family details and contact request buttons are enabled or restricted.

16. Connection Requests

Phone numbers and direct two-way messaging are protected. Contact details are not broadcast publicly; they are only shared when both parties mutually accept a connection request.

17. Messaging and Premium Membership

• Free Messaging: All verified members receive 10 complimentary messages to test communication. The app displays a clear counter (e.g., "7 of 10 free messages used").
• Premium Upgrades: Members may choose to upgrade to a premium plan for unlimited messaging and profile boosts. Membership records, duration, and status are stored securely. We do not store credit card or net banking credentials on our servers.

18. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We DO NOT sell, rent, lease, or monetize your personal information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Information is shared only under the following limited conditions:

• With Approved Members: Your approved public matrimonial profile is visible to other verified community members within the app.
• Infrastructure Service Providers: Google Cloud Platform / Firebase for hosting, database, authentication, and encrypted storage.
• Legal Obligations: If required by a lawful court order, law enforcement investigation, or valid governmental authority under Indian jurisdiction.

19. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Our mobile application integrates only essential, industry-standard service providers:

20. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures:

• All network communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2 / 1.3 / HTTPS).
• Data at rest within our Google Cloud databases is protected with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
• Administrative access to verification documents (Aadhaar cards and selfies) is strictly role-based and limited to authorized community moderators via audited consoles.

21. Data Retention

• We retain your profile data as long as your account remains active on the platform.
• If you find a match, decide to take a break, or delete your account, your profile, photos, and messages are permanently purged from active databases within 30 days.
• Security audit logs and transaction references may be retained for up to 180 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance.

22. Account Deletion (In-App Option)

In full compliance with Google Play Store policies, members can delete their account directly within the app at any time:

1. Open the Nagda-Menaria Vivah Bandhan mobile application.
2. Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
3. Go to Settings & Privacy.
4. Scroll down and select Delete Account.
5. Confirm via Mobile OTP. Your profile will be immediately deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion.

If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your phone, you can request full account and data removal directly through our dedicated web page:

24. Children's Privacy

Our matrimonial service is strictly restricted to adults who are legally eligible for marriage under the laws of India (minimum 18 years of age for females and 21 years of age for males). We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from minors. Any account discovered to belong to an underage individual will be immediately terminated.

Our core server infrastructure is hosted within secure Google Cloud Platform data centers in India. For overseas community members residing abroad, accessing the app involves cross-border transmission of profile data, encrypted using international industry standards.
